Salon website cost in Qatar: domain, hosting, builder and agency prices as published, plus questions to ask. Prices checked 29 Sep 2026.
If you own a salon, spa or barbershop in Qatar and you are asking what a salon website costs, the honest answer is a range, and the range depends on what you want the site to do. This page gives you the numbers that companies publish on their own websites, with the date we looked, and then lists the questions that move the total up or down.
We are Wasla, and we build salon websites, so we have an interest here. We have kept to published figures and marked our own arithmetic. We do not list a Wasla price on this page, for a reason explained near the end.
How we checked
On 29 September 2026 we opened each company's own pages and wrote down what they showed. Prices change often, so treat every figure as a snapshot and check the page before you decide. We say which currency each page displayed. We did not use reviews or third-party price lists.
The three costs you can see: domain, hosting, builder
A website has a few separate costs. Some you pay every year, some once.
Domain (your web address). Unitech is a Qatar registrar. On its domain pricing page, shown in QAR, .qa and .com.qa were each listed at "QAR60.00 1 Year" for a new registration and for renewal, and .com at "QAR66.50 1 Year". Unitech's Qatar domain page (a different page from the pricing one) says a .qa domain can be registered by anyone without documents, and that .com.qa needs valid documents.
Hosting (where the site lives). On Unitech's web hosting page, also in QAR, the plans were Basic at QAR 200.00 a year, Standard at QAR 330.00 a year and Premium at QAR 450.00 a year. The page lists a free SSL certificate on all three. Hosting is only needed if you do not use a website builder that includes it.
Website builders. Builders bundle hosting and templates into a monthly plan. Squarespace shows dollar prices, so these are not QAR figures. We do not quote Wix plan prices, because the prices in the page's code are placeholders that change by location, so we could not confirm them.

Wix says on its plans page: "Prices and currency vary by location. USD prices displayed for reference only." It also says the final price is shown on the purchase page before payment. Wix lists "Free domain for 1 year" on its paid plans, and Squarespace says annual plans include one year of free domain registration on available domains, renewing at its standard rate after that. The Squarespace page did not name its currency or say which country it was showing, and we viewed it from outside Qatar. It says "Pay annually to save up to 36%".
Here is our own arithmetic, not a quote from anyone. A simple do-it-yourself route could be a .qa domain (QAR 60.00) plus Unitech Basic hosting (QAR 200.00), which is QAR 260.00 a year, before any design work. That figure does not include your time to build and update the site.
What agencies in Qatar publish
We found one Qatar agency that publishes a price list on its own website, and every item on it is a starting price ("Prices start at").
Digital Forge, a Doha agency, lists on its page, among other categories: Static Web Design from QAR 1999.00, Business Web Design from QAR 3500.00, CMS Web Design from QAR 3999.00, Dynamic Website Design from QAR 5000.00, and Fully Custom Web Design from QAR 12000.00. It has no salon category in that list.
Two cautions. These are starting prices for websites in general, not salon websites, and we did not see what each includes for booking or WhatsApp. And a starting price is where a quote begins, not where it ends.
What changes the price
Digital Forge's list shows that the type of site changes the starting price, from Static to Fully Custom. Its FAQ also says it can integrate systems such as CRM, payment gateways and social media. Beyond that, these are the questions we would ask any provider, us included, because each one can change the total:
- How many pages, and how custom is the design? A template and a fully custom design are different jobs.
- Arabic and English? Ask whether the Arabic version is built properly right to left. Wasla builds proper right-to-left layouts and Arabic typography, not a mirrored copy.
- Which connections? Booking, WhatsApp and payments each add work.
- Who supplies the text and photos? Ask whether copywriting and photography are included.
- How soon do you need it? Ask whether a short deadline changes the price.
For a salon, the connections question matters most. A brochure site that lists your services is one job. A site where the "book" button reaches a real calendar and a WhatsApp chat that your team sees is a bigger job, and it is the one that turns visitors into bookings. Questions to ask before you pay anyone
- What is in the price? Ask whether the domain, hosting, Arabic version, photography and copywriting are included or extra.
- What do I pay every year? Domain renewal and hosting or a builder plan repeat. Ask for the yearly total, in QAR.
- Who changes prices and services later? A site with clear services and prices is only useful if it stays current.
- Where do enquiries go? Ask what happens when someone taps the booking or WhatsApp button, and whether your team sees it in one place.
- Who owns the domain? It should be registered in your business's name.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a salon website cost in Qatar? We could not find a price published for salon websites specifically. The one Qatar agency price list we found, from Digital Forge, starts at QAR 1999.00 for a static site and rises with the type of site. Squarespace lists dollar prices, with Basic at $25 /mo and $19 /mo. Ask for a written quote in QAR.
Do I need a .qa domain? The sources above do not say you must. Unitech's Qatar domain page says a .qa domain can be registered without documents, and its pricing page lists .com at QAR66.50 a year. Whichever you choose, register it in your business's name.
Can I just use a website builder? Wix lists "Scheduling and services" on Core and above, and Squarespace shows scheduling as a separate product in its menu, not as a plan feature on its pricing page. We did not check either builder's Arabic support, right-to-left layout or WhatsApp options, so ask before you rely on one.
